I need to find out the "official" name of the wire that the VAFC VTM wire needs to be hooked up to coming from the OBII ECU? This was apparently supposeed to be hooked up but didn't make it into the original wiring instructions and I never got the update By the "official" I mean what the Helms says the wire is. I couldn't figure it out before so I just unhooked the vtec controls (the two signal wires and the vtm) of the VAFC. I am going to re-wire and solder all connections to insure no shorting this time as my tach signal is all jacked up right now. Another wire I am looking for at the ECU is the rpm signal (official name in the Helms). Jim told me the easiest one to find under the hook but I don't feel like running a wire all the way into the car if I can get at it inside already. Thanks for your help ahead of time guys.

That is super funny Jim, I was ready it going, "what the hell is he talking about wrapping it up???". Well I am gonna get this shit figured out so i can get on with tuning these injectors down. What really sucks is that I had it tune pretty good up until the tach signal short, then I had to change the low cam, narrow tables to pull 25% out acroos the board because as the rpm's would jump, the injectors would add fuel and I couldn't hold a damn idle (I pull 30% from 500-2k) Thanks for the help guys and I'll see if I can't get this thing going. The VTM wire is somewhat mistique because nobody has ever said "NO, You don't have to or Yes you do" so I don't know and since I didn't recieve the update I really don't know

Try here: http://www.apexi-usa.com/documentation.asp
Your car may not have the VTM wire though. I think it stands for variable torque management. See this link about VTM: http://www.auto.com/reviews/acuramdx3_20010103.htm

Javin,
Installing a V-AFC is really easy.
Simply wrap all of the wires coming out of the back of the box around the control box... re-insert the control box back into the original packaging... then place a nice "FOR SALE" ad on your favorite bulletin board swap page...
VIOLA'... it is properly installed.
LOL
Actually, I do not believe that you connect the VTM wire on your particular car.
